Scope and identity

This policy applies to the public website at itechartgroups.com and the Itechartgroups editorial pages delivered through it. It does not control independent websites, apps or services reached through external links. Those providers publish their own terms and privacy information.

The site is an India-focused publication, but people may visit from other places. Privacy and consumer requirements can vary by location. This policy describes the website’s intended current practices and may be updated as services, providers or requirements change.

Information you choose to provide

The contact form asks for a name, email address, message type, subject, message and confirmation that you accept the relevant handling. This information is used to receive, review, route and respond to the submission; maintain a reasonable record of editorial requests; investigate abuse; and protect the website and publication.

Do not submit passwords, one-time codes, complete payment credentials, sensitive identity records, medical files or information you lack authority to share. If a later editorial process requires additional material, the team should explain an appropriate route and purpose before collection.

If newsletters, accounts, comments, competitions or other features are introduced, the relevant screen should explain additional information and choices. The current contact form does not automatically enrol a sender into promotional email.

Technical information

Web servers and security systems ordinarily process technical information needed to deliver and protect a website. This can include Internet Protocol address, request time, requested page, referring page, browser or device information, response status and signals associated with abuse. Hosting, content delivery, caching and security providers may process this information on behalf of the website.

The contact form uses a short-lived rate-limit identifier derived from network information. The design uses a one-way keyed hash rather than intentionally storing the raw address in that control. Standard server or provider logs may still contain ordinary connection data according to their own security and retention settings.

Technical information can help diagnose errors, prevent spam, maintain availability, understand broad usage and protect users. It should not be used to make high-impact personal decisions about readers.

Cookies and local storage

WordPress, hosting, security, caching or embedded services may use cookies or similar storage for essential functions, preferences, authentication, traffic management or abuse protection. Administrators who sign in receive authentication-related cookies. Ordinary public pages are designed to remain useful without a reader account.

External links and embedded content

Articles may link to official documents, sources, products, social platforms or other publications. Following a link sends a request to that external provider, which may collect technical information and apply its own cookies. A link supports navigation or attribution; it is not a guarantee of every statement, practice or security control on the destination.

Embedded video, social posts, maps or other interactive frames can allow the external provider to receive information when the embed loads. We aim to use embeds only when they add material value and may prefer a normal link or local image where practical.

Retention

Contact submissions and related correspondence may be retained for as long as needed to handle the request, maintain correction or rights records, prevent repeated abuse, meet legitimate operational needs or comply with applicable obligations. Not every message requires the same period.

Technical logs, backups and rate-limit records follow separate, usually shorter or rolling schedules determined by security and service needs. Deleting a live record may not immediately remove it from protected backup copies, which are overwritten according to a backup cycle and should not be used for ordinary activity.

We aim not to keep personal information merely because storage is available. Retention should reflect purpose, sensitivity, risk and the need for an accurate editorial record.

Security

Reasonable controls can include encrypted web transport, access restrictions, unique accounts, multi-factor authentication where supported, updates, backups, anti-spam measures and monitoring. The contact form uses a security token, sanitisation, a hidden field and rate limiting to reduce common abuse.

If a suspicious message claims to represent Itechartgroups, do not disclose credentials or payment codes.

Children

The website provides general editorial information and is not intentionally designed to collect personal information from young children.
